How do I get a quote for a custom shower enclosure?

How do I get a quote for a custom shower enclosure?

Designing and ordering a custom shower enclosure may seem complex, but at ATOG Direct, we’ve simplified the process to make it easy and stress-free. Here’s everything you need to know to get an accurate quote and move forward with confidence.

Planning Your Shower Enclosure

The first step is to create a simple sketch of your shower space. You don’t need to be an artist—just draw a basic outline of your shower area and label your measurements clearly. Accurate measurements are crucial to ensure a perfect fit, so make sure to measure twice and, if the numbers differ, use the smaller one. Always round to the nearest millimetre to maintain precision.

It’s also important to check the alignment of your walls. Use a level to see if your walls are perfectly plumb (straight up and down). Place the level vertically at the bottom and top of each wall. If the bubble isn’t centred, make a note of how far off it is and mark this on your sketch. This detail will help us address any misalignment issues when customising your enclosure.

Measuring for Width and Height

When it comes to width, take measurements at three points: the base, the middle, and the top of your shower opening. Write down each measurement on your sketch. Variations in these numbers could indicate that adjustments will be needed.

For height, measure from the base of your shower to the top. If there’s a threshold, start from the top of the base. If you want the door to be shorter than the full height of the shower, measure up to your desired point.

If your new shower door will be similar to an existing one, measure the width of your current door. For designs that swing outward, use the tape measure to check if there’s enough space for the door to open without hitting anything. Position one end where the hinge will be and move the tape in a semicircle.

Using Our Online Designer Tool

Once you have your measurements, it’s time to use the Online Shower Enclosure Designer. Here, you can:

  • Input Your Measurements: Add your details into the tool to visualise your enclosure.
  • Choose Your Fittings and Finishes: Select from a variety of hardware options to match your design vision.
  • Get an Instant Quote: The tool will instantly generate a quote, giving you a transparent look at the costs involved.

If you have any questions or require additional guidance, our experienced team is always ready to help. You can also book a consultation to ensure your design is perfect.

Finalising Your Order

Once you’ve received your quote and are ready to proceed, get in touch with our team. We’ll review your design and send a detailed plan for your approval before production begins. All U-channels and seals are supplied oversized so that final adjustments can be made on-site. This ensures your enclosure fits perfectly, even if there are slight variations.
