A client recently got in touch with us looking to create a fully watertight steam room with a clean, minimalist appearance. Having already explored our previous projects and hardware ranges online, he had a clear vision of the finish he wanted and was familiar with the different options available.

To get the project started, he sent us a detailed sketch of the shower area, including tight measurements, out-of-level wall information and even the preferred handle and position. With such comprehensive information, we were able to translate his ideas into a bespoke design that matched his vision perfectly.

While the overall concept was exactly what the client had in mind, we recommended a few small amendments to optimise the enclosure for use as a steam room. These included increasing the overall height to improve steam retention and specifying the most suitable seals to create a fully enclosed, watertight space without compromising the clean, frameless appearance.

Because the design had been carefully considered from the outset, the remainder of the process was straightforward. Before manufacturing, we issued our detailed glass and installation report for review, allowing the client to check every measurement, tolerance and out-of-level adjustment with complete confidence.

From the initial design through to manufacturing and delivery, the entire project was completed in just four weeks. The result was a bespoke steam room designed exactly to the client's specification, combining minimalist styling with the practical performance needed for everyday use.
