Will My Frameless Balustrade Have Effective Water Drainage?

Will My Frameless Balustrade Have Effective Water Drainage?

If you’re considering a frameless glass balustrade, one common concern is how water drainage will be managed. Proper drainage is crucial for preventing water pooling, which can cause damage and affect the longevity of your balustrade. Here’s what you need to know about the drainage solutions built into our frameless systems.

If I buy a frameless balustrade, will the water drain away?

Yes, our frameless balustrade systems are designed with effective drainage solutions to prevent water build-up. Here’s how it works:

  • Fast-Track Frameless Channels: Each profile in our Fast-Track frameless channels includes a built-in drainage solution. This system allows water to drain away efficiently, preventing pooling and reducing the risk of damage caused by standing water.

  • Model 1010 System: Our Model 1010 frameless system is specially designed to handle drainage on the outer faces. If the floor has a slight fall (slope), the outer faces of the Model 1010 can be filed away, allowing water to pass through and drain properly. This prevents water from accumulating on the outside of the balustrade.

These drainage features are engineered to ensure your frameless balustrade not only looks sleek and modern but also remains functional and durable over time.

Key Takeaways

Our frameless glass balustrade systems come with built-in drainage solutions to effectively manage water and prevent pooling. Whether it’s through our Fast-Track channels or the customisable Model 1010, we’ve designed these features to ensure your balustrade stays in top condition for years to come.
